Arkadii Shteinberg (1907-84), leader of the literary group Quadriga and the Tarusa School of painters, had an enormous influence on young Russian poets, translators and artists right up to his death. This volume contains tributes and memoirs from forty of them, including Evgenii Rein and Sergei Bychkov, and forms a commentary to Shteinberg’s The Second Road (2008). |
